Description

Relativity, did now launch after two failed attempts, but this time the second stage failed to ignite. Huge blow to 3D printing. Even though they have $1.3 billion, is it maybe a mistake to make both the rocket and 3D printer? Different companies rather than vertically integrated.

A project with two different synchrotrons looked at the cooling behavior and structured of metal 3D printed parts comparing behavior to the established Kurz-Giovanola-Trivedi (KGT) solidification model which should help make 3D printing a bit more predictable. 3D Systems collaborated with TE Connectivity to make a specific resin for connectors an application that I love.
