Catalina Ridgetop Eco Adventure Hummer Tour! 2-Minute Route Highlight Video

We took a Royal Caribbean Cruise and one of the stops was Catalina Island. We had been there a few times already and there isn't a whole lot to do on the island. So we decided to take a Hummer tour of the island. We used Catalina Island Company and took their 2-hour Ridgetop Eco Adventure Tour.

If you are fortunate to get Andrew as your driver it will make the tour that much better. It's bumpy and the DJI Pocket 2 with the 3-axis gimble does not give the ride justice (the camera used to film the entire video). Be prepared for a bumpy ride in some sections. It's super fun and it is an open-air type of Hummer.

It's a great little tour and a way to see parts of the island off-limits to tourists. To book a tour you can do it right from the cruise ship site if you are on a cruise or if you are on the island already with no tour booked you can easily book it at the dock.

Note that this tour is not a Bison tour and we did not see any. There are specific Bison tours that you can book as this tour doesn't enter the area where the Bison roam. To see the Bison you need to book the Bison Expedition.
