The oldest fragments of glass vases were found in Mesopotamia in the 16th century BC and they represented the evidence of the origins of the hollow glass industry. Because glassware has a daily purpose for us this field has undergone quite a lot of development. Also, artists appeared who turned the glassblowing into an art.
