Does the Xbox Series X make gaming PCs obsolete?

Microsoft has announced how fast they expect the new Xbox Series X to be, and it's a big number. 12TFLOPS of GPU performance to be precise, which is nearly as quick as the $1,100+ NVidia RTX 2080 ti graphics card, and faster than any of AMD's current-gen GPUs (AMD is manufacturing the CPU and GPU for the new Xbox and PS5)




For the first time in many years, these new consoles may be launching with more graphics power than the average gaming PC, and may even give high-end machines a run for their money. But speaking of money, how much is all that power going to cost?
