When the Pure Base 500 dropped from be quiet! it was welcomed with open arms, but did have some drawbacks, especially in the cooling department. be quiet! went back to the drawing board and came up with the DX, with tons of mesh, another 140mm fan as standard and enough RGB to shake a stick at.
