We're finally racing! How a race day works plus results! Dirt Oval Kart Racing.

A little behind the scenes of how a typical race day works including prep throughout the week and making changes at the track. The league I race in is called the IDIOTS series and runs throughout the summer on 9 different tracks all in backyards throughout northwest Ohio. We run flat karts without a nose on performance modified stock appearing engines. All of the tracks are dirt oval and typically smaller than what you would find at a "pro" track. This lends itself to skill over money and makes for some great tight racing.
