In this video, I compare three different types of microphone that you could use in your video productions.
All three are from Rode, but they are different types of microphones suited for different applications.
First up is my favourite Rode NT1 which is a dynamic condenser microphone the next is the Rode Smart Lav + and following that the Rode NTG-2 Boom Microphone.
The best microphone will be determined by the environment that you are in.
