Today - James finishes the Intel NUC 9 Extreme build - putting the finishing touches to the last 2 months of work he put into this custom build. • Show decals that have been added to the front panel.
• Show how the custom pump mounting bracket will work.
• Modify the stock CPU cooler backplate to fit the Alphacool block.
• Bond the copper heat spreader to the CPU.
• Make a custom 12 pin PCIe cable.
• Modify pump wiring.
• Replace red front USB ports with blue.
• Add two blue led strips to the case floor for an underglow effect.
• Added copper VRM heat spreader and modified stock M.2 heat sinks, use leftover aluminium as a chipset heat sink.
• Final installation of our Custom water block to the Compute Element.
• Build the system up in its final configuration, fill and bleed the loop with coolant.
