Description

Hi everyone!
I've decided to tackle my lifelong frustration. I would have loved to learn to play a music instrument but it seems that it's not going to happen. In the other hand I've gotten pretty good at building machines so I've reach what some could say is the obvious solution. I'm going to build a music machine that plays for me. I haven't taken many decisions about the machine yet but I'm sure it'll play the guitar so I've started there.
In this video I tried to devise and prototype a mechanism that plays a guitar string by itself. It didn't work first try but I am pretty happy with the end result. This is not exactly what is going to go on the machine but proofs that it can be done. Most probably a more elegant implementation of this solution will be required.
As always please let me know your thoughts in the comments, for this project I'm very confident that the comment section of the videos will be a great source of learning.
Enjoy!
