The Australian government is attempting to pass a new law called the Media Bargaining Code that could have a significant, negative impact on the creator ecosystem in Australia.
The law, as proposed, would provide unfair advantages to big news businesses over everyone else online—including us—the very creators and artists that make YouTube the amazing platform that we have come to love.
YouTube are trying their best to fight for our rights so let's support them by creating awareness about the issue and telling the Australian Government what we think of this type of monopoly on media powers.
